Government Discusses Tariff Benefits for Sustainable Vessels

The Ministry of Ports and Airports is discussing the creation of new criteria to assess the sustainability of vessels.
This measure is expected to facilitate decision-making regarding tariff benefits on ports and waterways.
The ministry has established a specific committee to oversee environmental management actions in the sector and plans to implement measures such as the use of biofuels, green hydrogen, and electrification.
