
Brazil’s June Sugar Exports Surge to 1.75 Million Tons

Exports of sugar and molasses from Brazil generated an average revenue of $82.97 million per day in June, according to data from the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex). In just ten working days, the average daily export volume reached 175,449 tonnes.
In total, Brazil exported 1,754,496 tonnes of sugar in June, earning $829 million at an average price of $472.90 per ton.
Compared to June 2023, when the daily average revenue was $67.999 million, daily revenue increased by 22%.

In terms of volume, there was a 28.5% increase compared to the 136,582 tons shipped daily in June 2023. However, the average price per ton dropped by 5% from $497.90 in June 2023 to $472.90 in June 2024.
