Santos Port Authority Joins Brazil’s Corporate Integrity Pact

The Santos Port Authority (APS) has officially joined the Brazil Corporate Integrity Pact, an initiative led by the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU), marking its commitment to fostering business ethics. The formalization took place last week, making APS an active participant in the pact.

The Brazil Corporate Integrity Pact encourages companies operating in the country to voluntarily commit to public integrity standards that enhance ethical business practices.

By joining the pact, APS aims to strengthen its internal governance and integrity culture, aligning with its strategic goal of generating increased value for stakeholders through the adoption of industry best practices.

The Corporate Integrity Pact offers a framework of measures designed to protect companies from fraud and irregularities by employees and business partners.

To date, over 180 organizations, including Petrobras and the São Paulo State Federation of Industries (Fiesp), have signed on to the initiative. APS is the first port authority to join the program.
