The revenue growth was even more significant, reaching 32.1%, with USD 893.4 million recorded in November 2024, compared to USD 676.1 million in the same month of 2023.
From January to November 2024, chicken meat exports increased 3.7% year-to-date, with 4.845 million tonnes shipped in the first 11 months of the year, compared to 4.671 million tonnes in 2023.

Revenue reached USD 9.071 billion in 2024 over the same period, representing a 1% increase over the USD 8.977 billion recorded between January and November 2023.
Among the main export destinations, China remained the largest importer, having purchased 46.3 thousand tonnes in November 2024, a 17% increase compared to the same period last year. Other key destinations included:
- Japan: 34.8 thousand t (+7.3%)
- United Arab Emirates: 34.2 thousand t (+6.4%)
- Mexico: 33.7 thousand t (+99.8%)
- Saudi Arabia: 29.8 thousand t (-6.3%)
- South Africa: 26.1 thousand t (+12.5%)
- European Union: 23 thousand tons (+62.8%)
“There was significant growth in exports to eight of the top 10 destinations for Brazilian chicken meat in November,” said Ricardo Santin, president of ABPA. “The month showed a strong comparative increase, especially given that November 2023 was the lowest-performing month of that year. Chicken meat exports have risen steadily over the past three months and are on track to meet the sector’s positive forecasts for 2024.”
Paraná remains Brazil’s leading chicken meat exporter, shipping 182.1 thousand tonnes in November (+26%), followed by:
- Santa Catarina: 105.2 thousand t (+15.2%)
- Rio Grande do Sul: 65.1 thousand t (+16.5%)
- São Paulo: 27.5 thousand t (+20.9%)
- Goiás: 18.2 thousand t (+4.6%)
