Jan, 03, 2025 Posted by Denise VileraWeek 202501
Ceará Dock Company (CDC) announced in the Federal Official Gazette on December 27 an electronic tender for the modernization and expansion of its CCTV system. The contract for the new network will include installation services, equipment rental, preventive and corrective maintenance, and technical support.
According to the tender notice, the evaluation criterion will be the lowest overall price. The process aims to enhance the security of operations at the Port of Fortaleza.
The Need for the Tender
The CEO of Ceará Dock Company, Lucio Gomes, emphasized the necessity of the tender for port operations, as the current CCTV system was designed and implemented eight years ago.
“Currently, we have around 100 cameras in operation. We will triple this number with up to seven configurations and all modern features, such as high resolution, night vision, facial recognition, motion and object detection, advanced connectivity, dynamic surveillance, intelligent image storage, and more—cutting-edge technology. This new network will ensure much greater security and compliance with the requirements of regulatory agencies like the Federal Revenue Service, Federal Police, and ANTAQ,” said Gomes.
Date and Time of the Public Session for Proposal Submission
The public bid submission session will be held on January 21, 2025, at 9:00 AM through the website www.licitacoes-e.com.br.
