Tatiana Prazeres, Brazil’s Secretary of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services (MDIC), announced on Monday, January 6, that the country achieved record export levels in several international markets in 2024, including the United States, Spain, and Canada.

“We hit all-time highs in exports to nearly 50 markets. Countries like the United States, Spain, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia saw record trade volumes with Brazil,” Prazeres stated during a press conference.

Brazil’s export highlights included high-value-added goods such as automobiles, aircraft, and industrial equipment like compressors and air pumps. The country also posted historic figures in traditional sectors, including beef and pork, pulp, iron ore, and fruit juices, showcasing the breadth of its export portfolio.

These results reflect Brazil’s deepening integration into global trade, bolstered by the growing competitiveness of its products in key markets and government initiatives to expand and diversify its export base.
