The government of Mato Grosso do Sul will hold an online auction for the Porto Murtinho Port Terminal, a 47,368.81 m² strategic logistics complex located on the banks of the Paraguay River, starting Monday (20) at 9 a.m. local time.
With an initial bid set at R$ 16.6 million, the multimodal terminal is positioned as a key asset for boosting international trade, particularly as the Bioceanic Corridor continues to develop.
To participate in the auction, bidders must submit an “initial proposal” via email to proposta@reginaaudeleiloes.com.br. Proposals must be sent by Friday (24), along with registration on the Regina Aude Leilões platform, where the entire bidding process will take place.
In addition to the port area, the winning bidder will gain access to modern logistical equipment and seamless connectivity through a paved ring road, enabling integrated operations without disrupting the municipality’s urban areas.
Porto Murtinho, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Bioceanic Corridor,” has garnered significant attention for its strategic location. The corridor connects Brazil to markets in Asia, Oceania, and North America, potentially cutting transit times for goods by up to 17 days.
