In 2024, Brado handled more than 117,000 containers, marking a 7% increase from the previous year. Alongside this volume growth, on-time delivery rates reached 99% for exports and 97.8% for the domestic market. “Our export performance was already strong in 2023 at 98.1%, but domestic punctuality stood at 85.4%, so we saw a significant boost in efficiency. These figures are even more important than volume growth because they show that our customers are at the core of our decisions,” says Daniel Salcedo, Brado’s Commercial Director.
The hygiene and cleaning products segment saw the highest surge, up 82%, followed by pork (42%), paper (37%), beverages (35%), cotton (31%), agrochemicals and timber (27%), and minerals (22%). Export operations posted the strongest overall growth, rising 11%.
October was the busiest month, setting a record with more than 10,700 containers moved. “This was the first year we surpassed 10,000 containers in three different months. We also recorded the best December in Brado’s history, handling over 9,600 units—a 12% increase compared to the second-best result,” says Salcedo.
