The Ceará Port Authority (Companhia Docas do Ceará – CDC) has been awarded an A+ rating in the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service’s Sintonia Program—the highest level of tax compliance a company can achieve under the initiative.
The top rating confirms that CDC’s leadership has been implementing best governance practices in the corporate environment.
To earn an A+ classification in the Sintonia Program, CDC met a series of criteria, including full tax compliance with both primary and ancillary obligations, as well as transparency, adherence to regulations, and cooperation with authorities.
As a result, CDC is fully up to date with its tax obligations, including maintaining an updated registration, submitting accurate declarations, providing consistent financial information, and making timely payments.
About the Sintonia Program
The program recognizes companies that strictly comply with their tax obligations and, in return, grants them special benefits.
These include priority processing for tax refunds, reimbursements, and credits, as well as expedited service from the Federal Revenue Service.
