Argentina April Grain Exports Jump 32% to $2.52 Bln on Tax Cuts, Soy Harvest Start

Argentina’s exports of grains and by-products generated revenue of USD 2.524 billion in April. This figure represents a 34% increase compared to the previous month and a 32% rise over April 2024.
Year-to-date revenue reached USD 8.659 billion, marking a 35% increase compared to last year.
The data was released by the Chamber of the Oil Industry of the Argentine Republic (Ciara) and the Grain Exporters Center (CEC), organizations that account for 48% of Argentina’s total exports.
According to a joint statement from the entities, April’s revenue growth was driven by reduced export taxes, a new exchange rate regime, and the start of soybean harvesting in the final days of the month.
The sector’s main export product is soybean meal, oil, and corn.
