Week 202523

Global green coffee exports fell by 6.8% in April 2025 compared to the same month last year, according to the International Coffee Organization (ICO). The volume exported reached 10.2 million bags, marking the fourth consecutive monthly decline in the 2024/25 coffee year (October to September).

Brazil Leads Drop in Exports

The ICO highlights that the decline in global exports of unroasted coffee was primarily driven by Brazil, the world’s largest producer of the commodity. Between October and April, global exports fell by 4.3% compared to the same period the previous year.
