Brazil’s Trade Flow Reaches USD 285.2 Billion from January to 3rd Week of June

Brazil’s trade balance recorded a surplus of USD 1.1 billion in the third week of June 2025, with total trade reaching USD 9.9 billion—exports amounted to USD 5.52 billion and imports to USD 4.4 billion.
In the partial results for June, exports totaled USD 20 billion and imports USD 15.8 billion, resulting in a surplus of USD 4.2 billion and a trade flow of USD 35.8 billion.
From January through the third week of June, Brazil exported USD 156.9 billion and imported USD 128.32 billion, generating a positive trade balance of USD 28.6 billion and a total trade flow of USD 285.2 billion. The figures were released this Monday (June 23) by the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (Secex/MDIC).

Compared to the same period in June 2024, average daily exports through the third week of June 2025 fell by 0.6%, from USD 1.436 billion to USD 1.428 billion. Imports, however, rose by 0.9%, from USD 1.120 billion to USD 1.130 billion in average daily terms.
As a result, the average daily trade flow reached USD 2.559 billion, and the average daily trade surplus was USD 298.29 million—up 0.1% compared to June 2024.

Extractive industry: down USD 3.08 million (–5.2%)
