Brazil’s October Beef Exports Already Surpass Total Volume of 2024

Brazilian beef exports continued to surge in October 2025. By the fourth week of the month, shipments had reached 276,500 tonnes, according to data released on Tuesday (28) by the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex).

This partial volume already surpasses the total exported in October 2024, when 270,200 tonnes were shipped abroad.

Export Growth and Daily Average Increase
The daily average of beef exports this month reached 15,400 tonnes, a 25% increase compared with the same period last year, when the average was 12,200 tonnes per day.

This performance highlights the sector’s strong momentum, driven by robust international demand and the competitiveness of Brazilian beef in the global market.

Export Revenue Surpasses US$1.5 Billion
Total beef export revenue by the fourth week of October reached US$1.527 billion, higher than the US$1.259 billion recorded in the same month of 2024.

On a daily basis, the sector earned US$84.88 million, a 48.2% increase from October last year (US$57.26 million).

Average Beef Prices Also Rise
In addition to growth in both volume and revenue, average beef prices also increased. As of the fourth week of October, the average price per tonne stood at US$5,525.8, an 18.5% gain from October 2024, when the average was US$4,661.7 per tonne.

This rise reflects the strengthening of Brazilian beef exports to international markets, driven by strong demand from key destinations such as China and the Middle East.

The partial results for October confirm the continued strong performance of Brazil’s beef exports in 2025, both in volume and in value, consolidating the country’s position as one of the world’s leading suppliers of animal protein.
