Armac, which operates in the rental of machinery and equipment, specialized services, and the sale of pre-owned units, has launched a new partnership this month with Intermarítima Portos e Logística S/A at the Port of Salvador (BA). The contract marks another important step for Armac in expanding its operations in the ports, terminals, and fertilizer sectors in the Northeast.
The project covers both imports and exports and involves handling urea, KCl (potassium chloride), and MAP (monoammonium phosphate), fertilizers essential for healthy plant growth. To support this, Intermarítima relies on Armac’s Yellow Line machinery, designed to ensure productivity and efficiency at every stage of the activities, with dedicated maintenance in the customer’s operation.
With this partnership, Armac strengthens its strategic presence in the Northeast and reaffirms its commitment to offering complete solutions for each customer, contributing to the development of the Brazilian port sector.
“This new operation for the Aratu–Salvador port complex demonstrates the market’s confidence in Armac’s technical capacity. The operational excellence, safety, and availability of our solutions provide the support Intermarítima needs to reach maximum productivity. It is a great opportunity for us to boost our business and contribute to the development of the Bahia market,” says Bárbara Laudano, Armac’s Director of Ports and Terminals.
