The Brazilian road equipment industry expects to generate US$10.6 million in exports to Mexico over the next 12 months, following negotiations held during Expotransporte, which took place from November 12 to 14 in Guadalajara. The deals totaled approximately US$5.4 million and involved 24 companies in the sector.

The participation was part of MoveBrazil, a program aimed at boosting national exports, led by the National Association of Road Equipment Manufacturers (Anfir) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The goal is to expand the Brazilian industry’s presence in international markets and diversify commercial destinations.

Anfir considers Mexico a strategic market for the sector, as it accounts for significant demand in North America and ranks among the main destinations for road equipment produced in Brazil. According to the association, the commercial relationships established at the event could result in approximately US$16 million in future sales and consolidate the Brazilian industry’s position in the region.

The Brazilian companies present at the fair represent a significant share of national production capacity, including Cardoso, ComLink, Facchini, Grimaldi, Librelato, Marksell, and Rossetti. The joint participation is part of internationalization initiatives coordinated by the sector association, which aims to expand trade flows and strengthen the road equipment production chain.
