ABPA Reports 5.8% Rise in Brazilian Egg Exports in November

Brazilian egg exports, considering both fresh and processed products, totaled 1,893 tonnes in November, up 5.8% compared with the same month in 2024, when 1,789 tonnes were shipped, the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) said in a statement. In revenue, performance was even stronger: external sales reached US$5.247 million in the month, an increase of 32.8% from US$3.953 million in November last year.

From January to November, the sector shipped 38,637 tonnes, a 135.4% increase from 16,414 tonnes exported in the same period of 2024. Cumulative revenue reached US$92.130 million, a jump of 163.5% from the US$34.965 million recorded in the first eleven months of the previous year.

Japan led purchases in November, with 757 tonnes, an increase of 266.8% over the same month in 2024. Next came Mexico (284 tonnes, +51%), Chile (261 tonnes, -29.1%), the United Arab Emirates (205 tonnes, -9.7%), and Uruguay (96 tonnes, -16.9%).

According to ABPA president Ricardo Santin, the performance confirms the consolidation of Brazilian shipments into higher-value-added markets. “Export volumes of eggs continue at a strong pace compared with previous years, now with new high-value-added destinations, which have favored the profitability of shipments,” he said.
