Brazil has concluded sanitary negotiations that will allow new agricultural products to enter the markets of Malaysia and Myanmar, the government said.
In Malaysia, approval has been granted for exports of processed poultry meal and poultry oil, adding value to products derived from animal rendering, a process that converts byproducts into inputs for animal nutrition. Malaysia imported nearly $1.2 billion in Brazilian agricultural products last year.
In Myanmar, authorization has been granted for exports of peanuts, sesame seeds, Brazil nuts, baru nuts and coffee seedlings, expanding and diversifying Brazil’s export basket. In 2025, Myanmar imported more than $38 million in Brazilian agricultural products.
With these approvals, Brazil’s agribusiness sector has secured 534 new market openings since the beginning of 2023.
