CMA CGM has announced that as of December 2019, it will reorganize the Sirius service, which connects the Mediterranean with the East Coast of South America.
The new SIRIUS configuration includes:
• Weekly service will be maintained with 7 vessels instead of the current 8.
• Direct stops from Malaga (Spain) and Buenos Aires (Argentina) will be discontinued.
• The service to the ports of the Prata region will be maintained with competitive transit times offered by the use of services of the MERCOSUR Line, a subsidiary of CMA CGM Group.
• Exports from Paranaguá will be opened.
• These changes will be effective as of the “MAERSK LOTA”, departing from Genoa on December 2, 2019.
