
Chilean wine exports increase between January and April

Total exports of Chilean wine reached 270.2 million liters for a total of US$ 598 million between January and April 2021, representing a 3.1% increase in volume and an 8.5% increase in sales compared to the same period in 2020.
Shipments of wines with a Chilean label slightly exceeded the volume registered between January and April 2020, reaching 136.9 million liters. In value, the increase between the two periods is more significant, reaching 8.9%, that is, a total value of USD 457.8 million. As a result, the average price of the category in this period reached US$ 3.35 per liter, 7.9% higher than the average price registered in the same period in 2020.
