Brazilian beef exports to the United States more than doubled in the first half of 2021 compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) highlighted by the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (CEPEA/ESALQ).
From January to June, shipments totaled 42,480 tons, a record volume 111% higher than the same period in 2020 (20,100 tons) and 151% higher than the first six months of 2019, when 16,900 tons were exported.
