Santa Catarina registers a 5.5% increase in poultry exports

Although Brazil’s poultry industry suffered a slower season last year, Santa Catarina saw the opposite. Poultry exports were up by 5.5% in 2018, YoY.
According to the Santa Catarina Federation of Industries (Fiesc), Santa Catarina’s export revenue rose by 5.2% to US$8.95bn in 2018, YoY. The state’s soybeans export grew 31.5% YoY, while pork shipments fell 4.2%.
