The National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) upped its forecast for Brazilian soybean and corn exports in February this week, although bran forecasts fell compared to the previous week’s projection.
Anec estimated Brazil’s soybean exports at 7.2 million tonnes, a new record for the month, 100,000 tonnes above the previous week’s forecast.
If the number is confirmed, the country’s exports will increase by about 1.7 million tonnes compared to the same month last year.
