The Customs General Administration of China (CGAC) has suspended imports from two Brazilian beef meatpacking units, as well as from one chicken meat producing plant, according to an official statement released on its website.
The suspensions will last a week and take effect from April 8, the GACC said, without explaining such a measure.
The ban concerns a JBS beef unit in Goiás, a Marfrig beef unit in Mato Grosso and a chicken unit in São Paulo owned by Zanchetta.
