Itapoá became the only port in Santa Catarina to offer the ASAS Service
May, 05, 2022 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek 202219
The ASAS service operates between Asia and the East Coast of South America and makes two stops at Itapoá, allowing importers and exporters to save up to 15 days in transit.
The ship Atacama, owned by Maersk, docked at Porto Itapoá on April 6, marking the beginning of the new service format.
Specialized service
Porto Itapoá constantly keeps the relationship with shipowners in focus through a specialist dedicated to direct contact with the main players in the market, a measure that promotes constant improvements in the routes, Transit Time, and new services, benefiting customers who already operate through the Terminal and attracting new customers to operate through Itapoá.
