Jul, 06, 2022 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek 202227
President Jair Bolsonaro issued a decree allowing lithium import and export and derivatives. According to the text, published in the Official Brazilian Gazette on Wednesday (6), operations will not be subject to “criteria, restrictions, limits or conditions of any nature.”
The legal apparatus revokes previous decrees that conditioned the foreign trade of lithium to the prior authorization of government bodies, such as the National Nuclear Energy Commission.
