The buyer of Ukraine’s first shipment of grain since the start of the war declined to accept it. The cause, according to the Ukrainian embassy in Lebanon, was a delivery delay.
“According to information, the customer declined the package owing to a delivery delay (more than five months). The shipper is now seeking another consignee for the package,” the embassy stated.
The ship Razoni left the port of Odesa on the 1st of August. The vessel was carrying 26,000 tonnes of corn. The information is from APK-Inform.
