Log-In Logística Intermodal released, on August 9, its financial and operational results for the second quarter of 2022. Among these results, one of the highlights was the Net Operating Revenue (NOR) growth for the fifth consecutive quarter, up 72.6%, thus reaching R$ 609.2 million versus R$ 352.8 million in 2021.
These advances were driven by the inclusion of Tecmar in the report. Without the inclusion of the new company, Log-In’s NOR was R$452.6 million in the quarter, a variation of 28.3% compared to the same period in the previous year. At the same time, the EBITDA was R$ 129.1 million, a growth of 48.6%.
The increase in NOR was primarily due to the all-time earnings at the Vila Velha Port Terminal (TVV) and the navigation industry, as well as the inclusion of Tecmar’s results in the report, in addition to the growth in cabotage volumes, an increase in feeder revenue, the entry of new customers, and a better cargo distribution in cabotage and Mercosul.
In terms of EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization), the firm set a new high for the quarter, increasing by 45.4% to R$ 135.5 million. In this case, in addition to the NOR from navigation, the evolution of TVV’s EBITDA, the rise in income from the international charter of the Log-In Discovery vessel, and growth in volumes handled in navigation and general cargo at TVV also contributed to excellent results.
There was also the achievement of the Quality Zone, measured by customers, in all segments, in the NPS (Net Promoter Score) survey.
