Sugar line-up in Brazil point to the shipment of 3.776 mln tonnes

In the week of November 9, there were 97 vessels in the line-up to export sugar in Brazil. According to the shipping agency Williams Brasil, this number increased from 91 in the previous week (02). According to the report, 3.776 million tonnes are scheduled to be shipped, compared to 3.439 million the last week.
Most of it (2.528 million tonnes) should be sent abroad via the Port of Santos, followed by the port of Paranaguá, in Paraná (975,658 tonnes), Maceió, in Alagoas (120,873 tonnes), Recife, in Pernambuco (94 thousand tonnes), Suape, in the same state (47,500 tonnes) and São Sebastião, in São Paulo, with 10 thousand tonnes.

The types of sugar cargo to be exported belong to the VHP variety (3,480,715 tonnes), granulated sugar B150 (89,050 tonnes), refined A-45 (136,500 tonnes), VHP in bags (35,000 tonnes), and TBI sugar (35,000 tonnes). The agency’s report includes vessels already anchored, those still waiting to berth, and those expected to arrive by December 5.
