Nov, 17, 2022 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek
Kuehne+Nagel is expanding its e-commerce presence with a new unit in Itatinga, Ceará, with 28,690 m² and 188 employees. This expansion enables the company to serve new customers in over 600 cities, reducing the delivery time for many consumers.
The company started operating in the Northeast region in 2020 and, since then, has been expanding its business, mainly with the growth of the e-commerce market, which is considered to have the greatest potential at the moment. Its structure in the region comprises operational centers in eight cities in seven states, employing more than 600 people with the potential to reach 1,000 during periods of greater demand, such as Black Friday.
Kuehne+Nagel invests in technology to create a better user experience, facilitating greater visibility and offering more flexible care solutions. It serves over 400,000 companies worldwide, developing e-commerce through maritime, air, and road transport solutions.
