At dawn on the 19th, a ship with vehicles from the German automaker BMW docked at the Port of Itajaí, at berth 3 (public pier). In total, 379 vehicles landed on the California Highway berth. Vehicle transport operations (Roll On Roll Off) in the port were resumed in March, after a halt in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Panama-flagged vessel belongs to the ocean carrier K-LINE. The ship arrived from the Port of Santos (SP) and is going to Lima, Peru. This was BMW’s second mooring in Itajaí. This time, the load totaled 745,308 tonnes.
