
CSN mining company closes ore purchase and sale deal with Glencore

In yet another chapter in the long history between the two companies, the Brazilian mining company CSN reported on Monday (26) that it signed yet another contract for the purchase and sale of ore with Glencore, an Anglo-Swiss giant in the sector.
According to the document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the project foresees an export prepayment of up to a maximum value of US$ 500 million.
The document does not provide further details about the agreement.
CSN’s board also agreed on other purchase and sale contractual amendments with Glencore, signed in 2019 and 2020.
