PortosRio establishes tariff discount policy in the Port of Rio de Janeiro

Last Friday (19), PortosRio issued Ordinance No. 193/2023, introducing a rate discount policy for the Port of Rio de Janeiro. The policy applies to specific items listed in Tables I and II. The discounts will be implemented within ten days of the publication of the ordinance and will remain valid for a period of 120 days.
The Port Authority recognized the necessity of a discount policy that adheres to transparent and equitable criteria. The policy’s objective is to enhance competitiveness, attract increased demand, and either boost or sustain tariff revenue and overall income.
