ONE joins GSBN blockchain platform

Hong Kong-headquartered blockchain platform Global Shipping Business Network (GSBN) has welcomed Ocean Network Express (ONE) as its latest member, joining founders such as COSCO, OOCL and Hapag-Lloyd as well as port companies including PSA and SIPG.
“By joining GSBN, ONE gains access to the consortium’s blockchain-enabled platform, which facilitates secure and trusted exchange of data between different parties across global shipping supply chains,” the platform stated in a release.
Bertrand Chen, CEO of GSBN, said, “The shipping industry is at a critical moment in time where digitalisation has the potential to enable a quantum leap. What’s needed to make this a success is trusted collaboration.”
