Ricardo Rocha takes on as Maersk’s new CEO for East Coast South America

A.P. Moller Maersk announced Ricardo Rocha as the regional CEO for the East Coast region of South America (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay) branch, headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.
With extensive knowledge of the Latin American market, Ricardo, a Brazilian born in Curitiba, Mr. Rocha previously held the position of Regional Head of Logistics and Services for Latin America and the Caribbean at the company.
With nearly 30 years of experience in logistics, he has held senior leadership roles in multinational companies such as CEVA Logistics, Kuehne + Nagel, DHL Global Forwarding, and UPS Supply Chain Solutions, with experience in markets including Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Panama, and Peru.
“I am delighted to return to my home country to lead the East Coast of South America, putting our customers at the center of everything we do. I am convinced that, together with the talented professionals in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, we will continue to strengthen our journey as a logistics integrator,” says Ricardo Rocha, President of Maersk for the East Coast of South America.

Ricardo, who holds a degree in General Sales, Merchandising, and Marketing Operations, has an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and specializations from Yale University and Cranfield School of Management.
