
Brazil to ship 8.175 mt of soybeans in August, says ANEC

Brazil’s soybean exports are expected to reach 8.175 million tonnes in August, according to the National Association of Cereal Exporters (ANEC). In August of last year, exports totaled 7.566 million tonnes, while in July, the country shipped 9.594 million tonnes.
During the week ending August 10, Brazil exported 1.737 million tonnes. For the period between August 11 and 17, ANEC forecasts exports of 2.246 million tonnes.
Soybean meal exports are projected at 2.240 million tonnes in August. In the same month last year, exports totaled 1.967 million tonnes, and in July, they reached 2.011 million tonnes. Last week, soybean meal exports amounted to 340,572 tonnes, with this week’s forecast at 631,690 tonnes.
