German ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd has announced changes to its South America East Coast (SEC) Service.
Starting on 27 September, Hapag-Lloyd’s SEC service port rotation will be updated as follows:
New York (US) – Philadelphia (US) – Charleston (US) – Jacksonville (US) – Port Everglades (US) – Santos (Brazil) – Buenos Aires (Argentina) – Rio Grande (Brazil) – Itapoa (Brazil) – Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) – Salvador (Brazil) – Pecem (Brazil)
The new rotation is considering a withdraw of Norfolk (US) call, according to Hapag-Lloyd, which said, “In order to avoid heavy delays due to the operational constraint faced in North America East coast ports, please note that Norfolk will be omitted on a weekly basis in our SEC.”
