Stellantis Plant in Brazil Breaks Export Record in June

The Stellantis Automotive Hub in Goiana (PE), Brazil, has just reached a major milestone. In a single shipment, the facility exported over 4,000 vehicles — the largest vehicle export operation ever conducted by Stellantis in a single batch. A total of 4,006 units produced at the Pernambuco plant were shipped from the Port of Suape to Argentina.
Inaugurated 10 years ago, the Goiana factory currently produces the Jeep Renegade, Compass, and Commander models, as well as the Fiat Toro and Ram Rampage pickup trucks. The Fiat Toro is also manufactured as the Ram 1000 version for export. The export operation involved dozens of workers over a 48-hour period.
The vehicles were loaded onto the vessel Dover Highway (K-Line), which was dedicated exclusively to Stellantis’ operation. The shipment sets a new record for automobile exports at the Port of Suape, which ranks among the six busiest public ports in Brazil.
The previous Stellantis record was set in May 2023, when 3,000 vehicles produced at the Goiana (PE) and Betim (MG) plants were exported in a single operation to the Port of Veracruz, Mexico. The current volume marks an increase of approximately 36.7% compared to that shipment.
“This record, combined with the historic performance registered in May, confirms the strengthening of our operations in South America and signals an important recovery in demand from Argentina — a strategic market for Stellantis,” said Emanuele Cappellano, President of Stellantis South America.
The Jeep Renegade was the most exported model in this operation, accounting for 26% of the total volume. It was followed by the Jeep Compass (25%), Fiat Toro (24%), Ram Rampage (16%), and Jeep Commander (9%).
