The Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services (MDIC) published on 13/10 an update to the list of products potentially affected by the Executive Order of 30/07/2025, issued by the U.S. government, which imposed additional tariffs on Brazilian exports.
The new version of the table, originally published as an annex to Joint Ordinance MDIC/MF No. 4 of 11/09/2025, made changes to 211 NCM codes of the Common External Tariff (TEC): 101 were added, 75 were removed, and 35 were adjusted in the lists of affected products.
These updates represent 2.01% of the total 10,504 TEC codes, resulting in 9,803 NCM codes currently subject to the additional tariffs applied exclusively to Brazil.
According to the MDIC, the update was scheduled and reflects technical adjustments stemming from clarifications to the Executive Order and the implementation of the Plano Brasil Soberano, which coordinates federal government actions in response to U.S. measures.
