“The Port of São Francisco has been achieving these positive results because it is fully prepared to meet market demands and requirements. This is yet another result that confirms its importance to both Santa Catarina’s and Brazil’s international trade,” said Beto Martins, Secretary of Ports, Airports and Railways (Spaf).
According to Cleverton Vieira, President of the Port, the September growth confirms the efficiency of operations and the coordinated work carried out throughout the year. “Reaching 13.5 million tonnes by September demonstrates the strength of our port as a strategic hub for exports and imports, especially in agribusiness and industry.”
