Sugar exports reach 2.334 million tonnes in October

The average daily revenue from Brazilian exports of sugar and other molasses reached US$74.002 million in October, over 13 working days, according to partial data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex). The average daily export volume for the month stands at 179,586 tonnes.
A total of 2,334,621 tonnes of sugar were exported in October, generating US$962.296 million in revenue, at an average price of US$412.20 per tonne.
Compared with the daily average for October 2024 of US$80.548 million, daily export revenues decreased by 8.1% in October 2025.
In terms of volume, there was a 5.9% increase compared to the 169,516 tonnes shipped daily in October 2024. However, the average price fell by 13.3% from the US$475.20 per tonne recorded in October 2024.
