Brazil’s pork exports drop 3.8% in early November as prices ease

Fresh, chilled, or frozen pork exports reached 27.2 thousand tonnes through the first week of November/25. According to information from the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex), pork shipments in November of the previous year totaled 107.6 thousand tonnes across 19 business days.
The average daily volume exported through the first week of November was 5.4 thousand tonnes, a decrease of 3.8% compared to November of last year, when the average was 5.6 thousand tonnes.

Regarding the average price, it was approximately US$2,438.1 per tonne, a slight decrease of 4.00% compared to the price negotiated the previous year, US$2,540.1 per tonne.
As of the first week of November/25, the total value negotiated for the product reached US$66.421 million, whereas in the previous year, total revenue in November amounted to US$273.4237 million.
The average daily revenue stood at US$13.2843 million, a 7.7% drop from November last year, when it averaged US$14.3907 million.
