Brazilian corn distillers’ grains exports grow nearly 10%
Feb, 09, 2026Brazilian exports of corn distillers’ grains — known as DDG (distillers dried grains) and DDGS (distillers dried grains with solubles), the so-called Brazilian Distillers Grains — recorded significant growth in 2025.
According to data published by the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) and compiled by UNEM, Brazil exported 879,358.40 tonnes of this animal feed product to 25 markets during the period, a 9.77% increase compared with the 801,101.27 tonnes shipped in 2024.
Growth of DDG/DDGS
The performance consolidates DDG/DDGS as an important value-adding driver within Brazil’s corn and bioenergy agribusiness chain, UNEM highlighted.
