The Paraguayan Service for Animal Quality and Health (Senacsa) announced March 19 the opening of the State of Israel’s market for exports of Paraguayan sheep meat.
After agreeing on sanitary requirements, the Veterinary and Animal Health Service of Israel (IVSAH) has communicated the approval of a Paraguayan slaughterhouse and refrigeration plant for exporting this product, Senacsa reported.
This authorization represents a significant milestone for the country, especially for the sheep production sector. It will boost its growth and generate new economic and social opportunities for national producers.
The export of animal-origin products to Israel reached approximately USD 147,574,364 last year—the highest annual figure compared to the previous ten years.
