The National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ) has approved the opening of a second public hearing and consultation regarding the lease of area SSB01 at the Organized Port of São Sebastião (SP). The aim is to receive additional contributions, inputs, and suggestions during the period from December 29, 2025, to January 27, 2026.
The initiative will include changes to the project’s structure resulting from a review of contributions received during the first public consultation and hearing held last year (from September 30, 2024, to December 13, 2024). Among the most relevant changes are the inclusion of containerized cargo handling, the expansion of the area to 426,949 square meters, and an increase in mandatory investments. The legal drafts and technical documents will be made available shortly.
Only contributions, inputs, and suggestions specifically related to the drafts submitted to public consultation and hearing will be considered. The date of the in-person or virtual session will be defined in due course. Participation must be made exclusively through the electronic form available on ANTAQ’s website; no other submission methods will be accepted.
It will be permitted to attach digital images within the established deadline—such as maps, layouts, and photos—by sending them to the email address: anexo_audiencia072025@antaq.gov.br. It is important to note that sending attachments by email does not replace the requirement to submit the written contribution through the electronic form.
If an interested party does not have the necessary resources to contribute via the electronic form, they may do so using a computer at the Agency’s Office of the Secretary-General (SGE) in Brasília (DF) or at ANTAQ’s Regional Units, whose addresses are available on the Agency’s website. All contributions received will be published on ANTAQ’s website.
