ANTAQ recognized the possibility of closing an adhesion contract between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Nordeste Logística S/A regarding the NELOG Private Use Terminal (TUP), located at Praia Barra do Cauípe in the Pecém Port Complex. The facility will handle and store solid bulk, general cargo, and containerized cargo.
Now, Antaq will initiate the proceedings with the Ministry of Infrastructure to move forward with the contract and will inform Nordeste Logística S/A about its decision.
TUP NELOG is a greenfield project adjacent to the TUP’s authorized area owned by Ceará Port Integration Company (CEARPORTOS), whose current corporate name is Development Company of the Industrial and Port Complex of Pecém SA (CIPP) S/A, with whom it agreed to transfer an 835,000m2 area.
