The National Agency for Waterway Transportation (ANTAQ) has announced the schedule for Public Hearing No. 5/2025, which aims to gather input, contributions, and suggestions to improve the technical and legal documents related to the leasing of terminal RDJ06A.
Located at the Port of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), the terminal is designated for handling and storing non-flammable liquid bulk cargo, particularly base oils. It spans an area of 11,800 m², with projected direct investments totaling R$24.9 million over the 25-year contract term.
Contribution period
Public input may be submitted starting Wednesday, August 13, through September 26, 2025. The date for the virtual public session on the bidding process will be announced shortly.
Draft legal and technical documents related to the leasing of RDJ06A are available here. Written submissions will be accepted exclusively via the electronic form on ANTAQ’s website until 11:59 p.m. on September 26, 2025. Submissions sent through any means other than the designated channels will not be accepted.
Digital attachments—such as maps, blueprints, and photographs—can be emailed to anexo_audiencia052025@antaq.gov.br, provided they include the contributor’s identification and are sent within the designated timeframe. However, emailing attachments does not replace the requirement to submit comments via the electronic form.
Those without internet access may submit their comments using computers available at ANTAQ’s General Secretariat (SGE) in Brasília/DF or at any of its Regional Units, with addresses listed on ANTAQ’s website.
