APS launches tender for structural reinforcement and draft increase at Barnabé Island quay

On Monday (June 23), the Santos Port Authority (APS) published Tender Notice No. 40/2025 for the contracting of specialized services to reinforce the quay at Barnabé Island structurally. The works, scheduled for execution over 21 months, aim to adapt the terminal to accommodate larger vessels.

The services include structural reinforcement of the quay and the four existing mooring dolphins, pile repair, and an increase in operational draft from -10.0m to -15.0m. The basic project also includes the installation of a new dolphin, fenders, and metal gangways, as well as the construction of two oil-water separators for wastewater treatment.

APS has also made public seven other tender notices in recent weeks for the procurement of equipment for APS substations, road signage, air transport services, and ballistic vests for the Port Guard, among others.
