Following a case of avian flu in an industrial farm and the suspension of poultry meat exports, Argentina resumed protein shipments last Friday (31), according to the national regulation service Senasa.
In a note, the agency says it has begun working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to establish contacts with commercial partners, with whom open negotiations are being held to achieve the readjustment of export certificates.

“We are working to be able to readjust the certificates to the new sanitary condition with the buyer countries and thus unlock exports of chicken meat, protein by-products, and eggs,” explained the vice president of Senasa Rodolfo Acerbi. Uruguay, for example, has already approved the new export certificates.
