Argentina’s agribusiness exports rise 6% through July

Argentine agribusiness exports grew 6% in volume in the first seven months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. Total shipments reached 65.5 million tonnes. Revenue amounted to US$28.22 billion. The data was released by the Secretariat of Agriculture.
The ten main commodity groups accounted for 87% of the exported value. Leading the list were soybeans, corn, beef, wheat, sunflower, fishing and aquaculture, barley, dairy, peanuts, and grapes. The peanut complex recorded the largest increase in volume at 47%. Wheat grew 31%, sunflower 25%, fishing 7%, and corn 3%.
China, India, Brazil, Vietnam, Chile, the United States, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and the Netherlands were the primary destinations, collectively representing over 50% of the total.
Among the products with the highest value per tonne were seeds (US$45,500), essential oils of lemon and other species (US$23,000), chilled boneless beef (US$10,428), jojoba oil (US$9,528), cocoa preparations (US$9,014), and shelled eggs (US$7,221).
Also achieving strong prices were blue-veined cheese (US$6,884), waxes (US$5,470), potato preparations (US$4,661), sparkling wines (US$4,656), clover seeds (US$3,978), and orange juice (US$3,776).
There were also initial shipments of soluble coffee, pepper, coffee concentrates and yerba mate, chocolate, oregano, yeast, and plants.
