Argentine government extends corn exports for six months

As a result of the national territory’s drought and to avoid domestic shortages, the Argentine government extended corn exports for six months, counting from the end of the shipment plus an automatic extension.
The Ministry of Agriculture granted an Exceptional Automatic Extension, of 180 consecutive days, to the Foreign Sales Declarations (DJVE) to the expiration of the declared shipment period, plus the automatic extension in the months of December 2022, January, and February 2023 for goods included in tariff item No. 1005.90.10, via Resolution 182/2022, published last Wednesday, the 14th, in the Official Gazette of the Union.
However, the text clarifies that the special extension does not apply to Affidavits that were registered after the entry into force of this measure nor to DJVEs that are registered with a validity period of 30 days. The information comes from the CMA Latam Agency.
